I agree that the Institute of Purpose may publish or republish my story and/or my project, my likeness and/or voice, my video, my audio, or any other material I submit. My content may be published on the Institute of Purpose website or any Institute of Purpose social media outlet including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and by distribution by email or other electronic or non-electronic means. I also agree that the Institute of Purpose retains a lifetime license to publish my content on any of the above mentioned outlets.

I state that I either own all the intellectual property associated with my project OR that I have complete authority and permission to publish my story and any associated content such as music, sound effects, original and stock video images and sound, still photographs, graphic design, and any other original or third party content or intellectual property. I also understand that I am extending a lifetime license to the Institute of Purpose to republish any or all of my submitted content AND that I may be asked by the Institute of Purpose to provide proper releases or proof of ownership of any content submitted to the Institute of Purpose.

I understand that the Institute of Purpose does not retain any financial or ownership interest in my project or story. I understand that any revenue associated with my content that is generated by the Institute of Purpose will be retained by the Institute of Purpose. I also understand that logos and contact information of any supporters, sponsors, or advertisers of the Institute of Purpose my be attached or associated with my content when published by the Institute of Purpose.

I understand that acceptance of any support from the Institute of Purpose, either financial or non-financial, does not imply any business, personal, or financial relationship between me and the Institute of Purpose. I understand the Institute of Purpose is simply republishing content that I wholly own or have permission to have republished.

I understand that if I accept any financial support from the Institute of Purpose I must utilize that support within six months of it being provided. If the financial support is not used in the creation or production of my project or story, I may be asked to return the funds to the Institute of Purpose. I understand that if I accept any financial support from the Institute of Purpose I may be required to provide an expense report outlining how the financial support was used.

I hereby agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless the Institute of Purpose, its owners, officers, agents, employees, and contractors (Releasees) from any loss, liability, damage or cost any of them may incur, now and forever, arising out of or related to my acceptance of support from the Institute of Purpose.

I hereby agree not to sue or otherwise assert any claim against any of the Releasees for any injury or damage, either physical or non-physical, that I may incur as a result of my participation with the Institute of Purpose. I understand that if, notwithstanding my agreement not to sue, I bring any action against Releasees for any claim released pursuant to this agreement, the prevailing party in any such action shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.

I hereby acknowledge I have read this agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, am aware of its legal consequences, and have signed it freely and voluntarily without any inducement, assurance, or guarantee being made to me and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. I understand that this agreement represents the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements. I understand that this agreement may not be orally modified and I am not relying on representations made by anyone other than those set forth in this agreement. I agree to the above paragraph.

BY WAY OF MY VOLUNTARY DIGITAL SUBMISSION, I AGREE THAT I HAVE FULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS DOCUMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT NOT TO SUE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY IT.
